About Me
Guitarist that builds websites. Or maybe a Front-end Web Developer that plays guitar? Something like that...
Web Developer & Designer
I got into website design and development shortly after moving to Sioux Falls, SD in 2015. What started as something I was curious about quickly became an obsession.
Since then I’ve had the privilege of working for some great companies and start-ups where I was able to level up my skills and work with some incredibly talented designers and developers.

Life beyond the web
Playing guitar has been a part of my life longer than it hasn’t. Currently, I’m playing in several local and national acts as well as writing and doing session work.
Outside of web work and music, I can usually be found hanging at home with my wife watching movies or enjoying some of the amazing local dining options Sioux Falls has to offer.

The details
I’m a front-end developer with with hands-on experience building Shopify storefronts, WordPress sites, headless CMS builds, static sites, and custom web applications. Since 2018, I’ve worked across startups, freelance projects, nonprofits, and in-house ecommerce teams, which means I’m just as comfortable writing front-end code as I am helping clean up the systems, workflows, and platform decisions behind it.
Most recently, I’ve been serving as CTO and developer at LaurieBelles, where I lead custom Shopify development, accessibility work, reporting, automation, vendor and software decisions, and mobile app strategy. That work has included cutting software spend by about $38K per year, leading accessibility improvements that reduced more than $60K in legal and financial exposure, and helping support an app channel that became the company’s second-largest sales channel.
